Jacob Paul Allen is a singer/songwriter from Nelson County, Virginia. Growing up in a “no stoplight” town in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains helped shape his musical style, which is best described as Americana. With a list of influences as intricate as the landscape of the Appalachian region where he grew up, Jacob’s music keeps the listener intrigued and wondering what he’s going to throw their way next. Sometimes he’s a bar room sing-along entertainer and sometimes he’s a heart felt story telling crooner. He loves to crank it up and get rowdy with the band and other times he likes to sit on a stool, keep it simple and let the lyrics really hit home. His ten year music career has taken him to 16 states and countless venues and stages where he continues to win over crowds and build a solid fanbase with a “nose to the grind stone” approach.

On the heels of a 2 year stint in Nashville, TN and on the cusp of releasing his first single, Jacob has returned home to Virginia where he will continue to write, record and take his music on the road.
